Education – men and women for others ***
Today our prime educational objective must be to form men-and-women-for-others:
- men and women who will live not for themselves but for God and his Christ - for the God-man who lived and died for all the world;
- men and women who cannot even conceive of love of God which does not include love for the least of their neighbors;
- men and women completely convinced that love of God which does not issue in justice for others is a farce.
Pedro Arrupe SJ 1973, Valencia, Spain The activities of the European Centre of Communication and Culture (ECCC) follow the Jesuit educational tradition and numerous educational initiatives which focus on in-depth reflections about important issues of the modern world, and the acquisition of practical skills. Didactic work helps reveal students’ potential and is aimed at the development of the whole person. Professionalism, which is based on spiritual values and creative approach to life, makes it possible to face the challenges of everyday life and help generously and actively those who are in need.
