I was in prison... (Mat 25:26)

Experiencing isolation is very difficult for young people, especially for those who are under age. That’s why, in 1992, the Jesuit community from Falenica started to cooperate with the staff and female youth from the Juvenile Correctional Facilities (4 Jachowicza Str., Warsaw). This cooperation takes different forms which focus on the personal development of female juveniles, deepening of their spiritual sensitivity, openness towards other people, development of their talents (talents for music, painting etc).

The Jesuits support the efforts of the staff and help female juveniles who got in restrictive environment of the Correctional Facilities. The experience shows that the time spent in a correctional institution doesn’t need to be lost.
