Up-to-now activities01: Bridges to Europe: Between the Eastern and the Western Bloc.Workshops for journalists from Central and Eastern Europe.
Place: European Centre of Communication and Culture, Warsaw Dates: 24.09- 21.10.2000 Number of participants: 18 (from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Czech Rep., Lithuania, Hungary)
During the workshops there have been discussed many socio-cultural and political realia existing in Europe. The training course presented also a possibility to share experiences and reflect on the future of the media in a European society taking into consideration specific ethical problems which journalists face in their work. The course was conducted by an international team of experts. At the end of the course participants presented their short TV reportages and a photo exposition on a chosen topic.
