07: Internet Presence of the Catholic Church in Russia and the CIS

Workshops for the representatives of the Catholic Church"s web sites in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Place: European Centre of Communication and Culture, Warsaw

Workshop objectives:

Conceptualization of the Internet presentation of the Catholic Church in Russia and the CIS (concrete project planning with target group, content, personnel, budget and financing, work flows, editorial processing, co-operation structures with partners in Russia and the neighbouring countries with a concrete time table for the implementation)Analyzing of present web-sites in neighbouring countriesPlanning of concrete co-operational structures between the countries:Identification of fields of co-operationEstablishment of responsibilitiesFixing of concrete action plans (Who does What until When)Identification of existing training needs of staff (news service as well as other personnel) and planning of respective training measures

Trainers:

Ms. Andrea Sofie Jannusch (Catholic Media Council, Aachen, Germany)

Andrea Sofie Jannusch is the responsible for the Eastern Europe and CIS desk at the Catholic Media Council (CAMECO), a research and advisory office for media projects in Africa, Asia, Latin-America and Eastern Europe, located in Aachen, Germany. For further information about CAMECO see http://www.cameco.org.
As a trained journalist she worked in the press (daily newspaper, magazines), for electronic media and in the field of public relations. She has carried out research on intercultural training of media personnel and has also been involved in the implementation of training institutions and single courses - as adviser and as trainer.

Dr. Georg Angermeier (Angermeier Scientific Consulting, Maisach, Germany)

Since 1999 Dr. Georg Angermeier is working as a self-employed consultant for project and quality management of web sites. His main customers are publishing houses and banking houses. As an active member of the roman-catholic church he also consults catholic organisations such as Caritas. He publishes regularly on project management and is a member of the International Project Management Society (IPMA). In Germany he is well-known as editor of the leading German dictionary for project management.
He is physicist and worked for several years as project manager for research and development. His mission statement is: "Transfer customers" needs into technology." For further information see also: http://www.ask-asc.de.
