Training course profile:
The course consisted of two parts. The first part was a lead-in to the 15th European TV Festival of Religious Programmes which was held in Warsaw from the 11th to the 16th of May 2004. The invited lecturers and media specialists dwelt on the place and form of Christianity on television and in film productions in the context of a broad role of media in a modern world; they discussed the issues of religious broadcasting – its positive sides and shortcomings; religious programmes for the children and the youth, and the issue of new formats for religious broadcasting. The second and the main part of the course was a participation in the 15th European TV Festival of Religious Programmes, which gave a possibility to get acquainted with the newest European religious TV productions and trends.
