25: INTENSIVE WORKSHOP ON FILM PRODUCTION

Place: European Centre of Communication and Culture, Warsaw
Dates: 31 January – 3 February 2006
Number of participants: 16 (from Ukraine, Belarus, Poland)
Working language: Polish

Course objectives:
To make possible for young people from different countries to meet and get acquainted with the process of preparation and realization of a feature film and a documentary film
To produce films according to one’s own script and one’s own concept of editing

Course programme:
Each day started from the theoretical introduction into the afternoon workshops. On the second day the group of participants was divided into two shooting crews. The first crew was shooting a film according to the script prepared on the previous day, while the second crew was shooting a documentary on the workshops taking place on the film set (the so called “making-off”). On the third day each group was divided into two smaller groups (thus there were 4 groups).
