Welcome to the official web-site of ECCC – European Centre of Communication and Culture.ECCC is a Centre run by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) located in Warsaw, Poland. Our Centre organizes professional training courses for different social groups of people, among others for journalists, teachers, social workers, educational leaders, staff workers of self-governmental , non-governmental and political organizations. ECCC is a part of Scribani Network . The European Centre of Communication and Culture (ECCC) in Warsaw was established in the year 2000. The ECCC is a place for dialogue, education, and sharing of experiences. As a training center, we offer not only professional knowledge and skills but also spiritual formation. Our staff pays much attention to Christian and ethical dimensions of the work in the media, education and other fields. The work of the ECCC initiates international cooperation based on the respect for different cultures and ecumenism. The Centre is recognizable in Poland and beyond. Various people from abroad are involved in our work. Although the staff of our institution is relatively small, our good cooperation and involvement spread to the participants of our activities. The experience shows that our staff is flexible in reacting to the needs of applicants. Our methodology is based on the Jesuit tradition and the cura personalis approach to each person. The ECCC’s activities fit into the service of the Polish Church and the service of Polish Jesuits to the Universal Church. The major part of the ECCC’s activities is directed beyond Poland and harmonizes with the message addressed by His Holiness Benedict XVI to the Polish clergy to serve generously the Church beyond Poland (25 May 2006). Our various activities wouldn’t be possible without a considerable financial and spiritual help of our sponsors.
