Program of the course:
The course program includes all aspects of a radio broadcast realization from recording through editing to airing "liveThe course participants had a possibility to get acquainted with the situation of a modern radio in Europe and in the world, its connections with the InternetThe course program includes visits to the Polish Radio;There were an opportunity to observe different information genres "live"; to get acquainted with the editors of music, sports, educational broadcasts, broadcasts for religious and national minorities; Experienced radio journalists shared their knowledge of preparing and conducting interviews with politicians, scientists etc. The course participants got to know Warsaw and Cracow (the course venue) and its inhabitants, Polish culture (music, theatre).
Training course objectives:
Refresh/broaden practical journalistic knowledge and skills Draw participants" attention to the important ethical and legal aspects of a radio journalism, without which one cannot speak about professionalism in the mass-media Encourage the course participants to define a character of a journalism they wish to practise and pay their attention to modern challenges brought about by the transformations in the world of technology, politics, and global economy; Share experience with different people working in the field of a radio journalism: experienced practitioners, young journalists, and students
